At the Craft Happening of the Craftwork 4.0 All project, two makers meet — and with them, two philosophies of care.

One works with sustainable mosaic, building new visual worlds from fragments: broken ceramics, leftover tiles, discarded glass. Pieces once considered useless become structure, rhythm, and light again. Not repair — but re-composition.

The other brings a memory-based craft practice — restoring and transforming broken tableware filled with personal stories. Cracked cups, chipped plates, forgotten family sets — objects that witnessed dinners, conversations, losses, and celebrations. The goal is not to make them “like new,” but to let them become meaningful in a new way.

In this happening, participants don’t just craft — they translate memory into form.

A broken cup becomes a wall piece.
