Seeing Beyond the Surface: Perception, Identity and Migration Experience — Workshop Description

This gentle, reflective workshop invites participants to slow down and look beyond first impressions — of images, stories, and each other. Through creative exercises and guided dialogue, we explore how perception is formed, how identity is layered, and how migration experiences — both personal and inherited — shape the way we see and are seen.

We created this workshop as a safe and welcoming space where art becomes a bridge between inner experience and shared understanding. Using simple visual and craft-based methods, participants will translate feelings, memories, and viewpoints into creative form — without pressure for artistic skill, only openness and curiosity.

Why do we run this workshop?
