Learning, sharing and fun! The only way to describe the fantastic 7-day seminar that took place at Art Center Caravel at the beginning of November 2021. The ”Online entrepreneurship for associations” seminar was organized by ARTE.M association and cofounded by Erasmus + programme of the EU. The aim was to create an international group of artists that will share knowledge about art, art business, digital tools that help the artists, entrepreneurship for art organisations, as well as to create new international friendships and art community.
During the seminar, 20 participants from 8 countries (Romania, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Lithuania, Greece, and Poland) shared their best knowledge, skills and experiences. Each team had prepared a workshop or presentation related to the topics of the seminar.
The seminar had a busy schedule - from Tote bag workshop, Design thinking methodology presentation, Business simulation game, talks about platforms where NGOs can apply for free… even an art exhibition by Buba Solak (North Macedonia) was organized.
In addition, our friend and art curator Cefyn Embling-Evans hosted a workshop under the name ‘’Finding the voice of young artists’’. At the end of the seminar, all participants recieved a Youthpass.
Participants spent their free time around Madeira Island, enjoying the local cuisine and meeting the Portuguese culture.
