“LOCAL TO BE”
As a just arrived volunteer on the Island, with intension to become local one, I am enjoying more and more every day. Day by day, I am being more comfortable in Funchal, feeling the energy and the magic that this place offers.
The working week ended really nice with a private party with our new friends from Netherlands and the volunteers from ARTE.M cultural and artistic association. I enjoyed being around such a creative, ambitious and friendly people. Learning Petrykivka technique of painting and spending some quality time with our artists on Saturday. The evening is perfect time for a long walk, enjoying the beautiful nature, conversations. The Sunday morning coffee, lunch with housemates, attending the flower festival performances and the evening jogging made me feel like six months are not going to be enough here! Already started to feel like I am home!
